Working Together…

Support for times when a lot is changing at once.

If you’re navigating a meaningful transition — in work, life, health, purpose, or some combination — and feel a readiness to move forward, this work offers a grounded place to do so with clarity and care.

I work through an ongoing, collaborative relationship that supports you to hear yourself clearly, take meaningful action, and move forward with momentum — as a whole human being, in partnership with your life.

  • “Working with Heather is like getting several coaches in one: a powerful health coach, an inspiring life coach, a really experienced leadership coach, a business coach. She IS the everything-coach. I have yet to bring something to our sessions that she isn’t able to help me field. It’s a little freakish.”

  • “I wish everyone wrestling with how to be a good leader had someone like you in their lives—a safe place to take things apart, to complain, to learn, to explore, to grow. A safe place to look clearly at yourself—because there aren't many places that genuinely feel like that.”

  • "Heather has a gift of reflecting back and pulling out what I am actually saying, and it provides me with such clarity. I feel like the juices are flowing again and it feels SO GOOD! Our conversations have become some of my most favorite times."

  • “When I think about the money I haven’t spent because of working with Heather (identifying real solutions instead of wasting money on dead-ends) her support has paid for itself several times over.”

  • “Whenever I hear anyone say they’re looking for a coach, I send them to Heather. She never disappoints. People love working with her.”

Individual Coaching

At the heart of Fractally Whole individual coaching offers personalized support for capable, thoughtful adults who sense that what is emerging next in their lives truly matters.

People often reach out when:

  • multiple dimensions of life feel like they’re shifting at once

  • familiar ways of responding no longer fit or meet the present challenge

  • change is clearly underway, but the direction ahead feels uncertain or foggy

  • there’s a pull toward what’s next, paired with a sense of hesitation or overwhelm

  • they want to meet this season of change with greater awareness, agency, and care

There is usually a readiness or hunger to move forward — alongside uncertainty about direction, timing, or next steps.

Our work together creates conditions where you can hear yourself more clearly, find simplicity on the other side of complexity, and take steps that are meaningful, embodied, and genuinely your own.

This work is not prescriptive or formulaic. It is responsive and discerning — alive to what’s actually unfolding in your life — supporting real breakthroughs and forward movement without requiring you to push, perform certainty, or override your own knowing.

What People Often Bring

People often arrive carrying some combination of:

  • life decisions with real stakes, where the cost of getting it ‘wrong’ feels high

  • burnout, exhaustion, or overwhelm — and a clear sense they can’t keep going the way they have; that something has to give

  • changes in role, leadership, or responsibility that ask for a new way of showing up

  • questions of direction, purpose, or alignment that won’t stay quiet

  • concerns about health, vitality, or long-term sustainability — personally or professionally

  • relational or organizational dynamics that feel complex, charged, or unresolved

  • several of these unfolding at once, without clean boundaries between them

You don’t need to sort, simplify, or make sense of any of this in advance.

The work meets the whole of what you’re carrying — and supports clarity from there.

What To Look For In Coaching

Practicalities

Fees & Agreement

My work is offered on a sliding scale, designed to meet you where you’re at while honoring the depth, care, and discernment this work requires.

We begin with an initial conversation, and from there shape an approach that fits the context, the moment, and your specific need for support.

Duration & Rhythm

Many engagements unfold over three months to a year, with a typical duration of around six months.

Some engagements last longer — occasionally up to a few years — while others are brief, including just the initial conversation. We design our time together based on what you’re navigating and what you need, with an orientation toward completion or “graduation” as you feel ready. The work is shaped around you, your context, and the season you’re in.

A rhythm of meeting twice per month works best for most. In times of higher challenge or transition, sessions may shift to weekly; when there’s clarity and good momentum and you’re wanting a stabilizing presence, we may move to monthly or quarterly. Over time, this frequently leads to a natural sense of completion.

Clients who have completed a round of work are always welcome to reconnect — for a one-time touch-in or for a new season of support as fresh transitions or challenges arise.

Leadership & Organizational Work

I bring deep, embodied experience working with founders, leaders, and organizational teams navigating periods of significant change — from building toward launch, to the challenges of growth, unexpected disruptions, founder transitions, persistent stuck points, or movement toward completion and closure.

Our work together may include:

  • one-on-one leadership support

  • accompaniment for leadership teams

  • role, accountability, and governance clarity — particularly when moving toward more self-organizing ways of working

  • group sense-making and strategic orientation amid complexity

  • support for implementation and follow-through

What distinguishes this work is the integration it brings: developmental depth, systems awareness, organizational development, and whole-person care — informed by years of building, stewarding, and course-correcting real initiatives serving human, environmental, and societal well-being from the inside.

Organizational engagements are shaped collaboratively, guided by what is most needed in the moment and what will genuinely support coherent forward movement.

How to Begin

The first step is a conversation — a chance to listen together, clarify what’s moving in your life or work, and discern whether this way of working would be supportive.

These conversations often lead to working together, and almost always bring clarity that’s useful in its own right. Either way, it’s a grounded and generative place to begin.

  • Coaching sessions are primarily held via Zoom. This format offers a particular kind of focus and continuity, and supports a shared record of notes and reflections over time.

In some circumstances — depending on location, timing, and mutual interest — in-person sessions may be possible, such as meeting for a walk on a trail or a conversation in a quiet coffee shop. When these opportunities arise, I welcome them as a meaningful change of pace.

I’m based in the Pacific Northwest, just outside Seattle, and I hold considerations of access, sustainability, and care for our respective contexts when exploring in-person options.

  • Scheduling is designed to be flexible and responsive. We typically schedule the next session at the close of each conversation, and clients also have the option to book directly into my calendar at any time.

Most sessions are scheduled one week to one month in advance. This approach allows the work to adapt to changing needs and rhythms, while minimizing unnecessary rescheduling.

  • The next step is to schedule an initial conversation. This is a complimentary session where we’ll explore what’s moving in your life or work, and get a sense of whether working together would be supportive.

If it feels like a good fit, we’ll discuss next steps and I’ll share options for moving forward together.
